St. James Technologies LLC. Formed in 2006, St. James Technologies uses its roots in the bulk stevedoring industry to identify business problems, for which it can develop and apply a wide range of technological solutions. The success of SJT comes from its active integration into to an industrial sector, which is seeking to incorporate new technologies and is looking for ways to improve profitability and to deliver higher levels of customer communication and product data.

SJT has been working along three primary trajectories. The first is the development of a software platform, which incorporates a data collection and storage capability with a predictive intelligence component. This platform is focused on the planning and forecasting operational activities while delivering custom reports to the relevant stakeholders. The second area is a laser tool to improve accuracy of barge displacement surveys. Finally, SJS is developing systems for communicating data and images from remote, mobile locations.
